The four men that were killed in the accident range in age from 17 to 25, and were all from Wisconsin.

The accident happened around 5:00 p.m. on Sunday night near Orfordville. The mother of the four children was driving their vehicle when she was unable to retain control. Her car slid into oncoming traffic on Wisconsin 213 making contact with a separate vehicle, which was being driven by a 26-year-old Middleton man.

Wisconsin sees decline in traffic-related fatalities
Posted on Monday, January 9th, 2012 at 6:45 pm
For the fourth year in a row, there have been less than 600 traffic-related fatalities in Wisconsin. The last time this happened in the state was between 1924 and 1927.
The Wisconsin Department of Transportation recently released the information regarding the 2011 traffic fatalities. Throughout the year, 569 individuals lost their lives in traffic crashes. This number is drastically lower than the five-year average of fatalities.
The traffic crashes accounted for in these statistics include vehicle crashes as well as pedestrian and bicycle accidents. The state is pleased with the declining number, but many officials believe there is more that can be done to reduce the number of preventable fatalities across the state.
Vehicle accidents can cause severe injuries. If you have been injured in a car accident, please contact the Wausau motor vehicle accidents lawyers of Habush Habush & Rottier, S.C. by calling 800-242-2874 today.
Deer create hazards on Wisconsin roads
Posted on Monday, November 14th, 2011 at 5:16 pm
Wisconsin has a large population of deer and it has already been determined that accidents involving these animals are on the rise this year.
The last two years have shown a steady increase in accidents and fatalities resulting from contact with deer. The month of November is a dangerous time for these accidents because mating season for deer is in full swing. Deer are constantly in motion during this time and it is up to drivers to stay safe on the roads.
Over 16,900 accidents that took place in Wisconsin last year were a direct result of deer-car collisions. This number is only expected to rise in the coming weeks.

Car accident kills 2 in Pewaukee
Posted on Monday, November 7th, 2011 at 6:41 pm
This weekend in Pewaukee, a car accident left two dead. The car accident happened on I-94 just after midnight when a car traveling the wrong way crashed into a car.
Four separate police vehicles tried to stop the car from causing any harm after being notified by several people on the highway of the wrong-way driver. Both drivers that were involved were pronounced dead at the scene.
An investigation is being conducted but as of now, there is no sign of alcohol being a factor. The driver of the vehicle that was struck was a 41-year-old husband who had three children. His widow is devastated and doesn’t know what to tell their children who also feels sorry for the other victim. The operator of the vehicle going the wrong-way was a 44-year-old Wisconsin woman.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the victims’ family and friends during this difficult time.
