Snowmobile Reduction To Begin Patrols

Posted on Monday, January 18th, 2010 at 5:34 am

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources will be resuming patrols of its snowmobile accident reduction unit.   The snowmobile patrols involve six wardens riding around and seeking out hazardous riders.

Each time that the unit has been utilized,   snowmobile accidents had decreased for the year.   The patrols were stopped as money concerns were an issue initially, however the program will be picking back up. Many hope that the success of the program will continue, bringing about less snowmobile accidents, injuries, and deaths.

If you or someone you know has been injured in an accident, contact the Wausau personal injury attorneys of Habush Habush & Rottier S.C. ® at 800-242-2874.
