A bicyclist was critically injured in a Wausau car accident Monday near Antigo.

According to officials with the Langlade County Sheriff's Department, 26 year-old Timothy Wissbroecker, of Antigo, was injured shortly after 11:00 a.m. while riding his bicycle on Highway 64 about five miles west of Antigo. Wissbroecker was transported to Aspirus Wausau hospital following the crash.
