Man Hurt in Wausau Motorcycle Accident

One person was injured in a Wausau motorcycle accident

According to officials with the Wausau Police Department,
the motorcycle accident took place just after 10:00 a.m. Friday. The accident
occurred near the intersection of Sherman Street and First Avenue. Police say
the motorcyclist was the only person involved in the accident.

According to the Wausau Police Department accident report,
the motorcyclist was traveling south on First Avenue when he lost control of
his motorcycle for an unknown reason. He was ejected from his vehicle in the

The motorcyclist was transported by ground ambulance to an
area hospital for treatment. No information on the nature or extent of his
injuries was available. The man’s name has not been released.

The accident remains under investigation by the Wausau
Police Department.
