A Greenleaf man was injured in a collision in Rockland on Monday night.

A 35-year-old woman driving a Jetta car northbound on Wisconsin 32/57 crossed over the center line, crashing into a 59-year-old motorcyclist. The crash occured around 8:30 pm at Brown County ZZ.

The motorcyclist was wearing eye gear, but failed to wear a helmet. The man was transported by helicopter to Green Bay's St. Vincent Hospital to be treated for his injuries, which required surgery. He remains in the hospital in critical condition.

According to Brown County Sheriff's Capt. Dave Konrath, the driver of the Jetta, who was not injured in the collision, is being held on charges of driving while intoxicated, causing injury, and driving left of center.
