Woman dies after losing control of her vehicle in Waukesha

Posted on Tuesday, February 14th, 2012 at 10:09 pm

A Waukesha woman has been killed after she lost control of her vehicle and drifted into oncoming traffic. The accident took place around 7:00 a.m. this morning.

The 34-year-old struck two vehicles in the opposite lanes of the road, and was thrown from her vehicle. She was not properly secured in the vehicle with a seat belt, and suffered several serious injuries in the accident. She was immediately taken to a local hospital, but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The other two drivers involved in the crash were not critically injured. No names connected to the accident have been released, so that police officers have time to notify family members.

Our condolences go out to the victim’s family and friends during this tragic time.
